In addition to our normal Courtyard activities we will have the finals of the Boccia league, St. Vincents GAA Club are returning for another sponsored cycle and the relics of St Oliver Plunkett will also be brought to the Courtyard in a very special visit. Event:	St Patricks Day Celebrations in Stamullen

Description:	We have a great day of celebrations planned for St Patricks Day this year. The celebrations start with our famous Courtyard breakfast at 10am. This will be followed by a blessing of the shamrock at 11.30am together with singing of Hail Glorious St Patrick. Thinking caps on as we have a quiz next... the "What do you know about Ireland" quiz will be held in the Courtyard at 11.30am. Finally at 2pm, we will have Jigs n Reels at 2pm with lots of fun for everyone. We hope everyone has a great day - La Fheile Padraig sona daoibh!

Event:	Presidential Election Morning

Description:	On Thursday 27th October we will hold an "Election Morning" in the Courtyard to mark the day when the country goes to the polls to elect the new Irish President. In preparation our clients have been doing projects and learning about how voting works and finding out about the 7 presidential candidates. We will have a mock voting booth and indeed, some of our clients will then be going down to the village to cast their votes for real.

On Thursday 27th October we will hold a coffee morning and auction of some pottery in aid of Our Ladys Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin. All pottery items have been made here in the Courtyard and include money boxes shaped like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and members of the Simpsons!

Description:	The ALERT Day is a day of fun and learning where service users that have completed the ALERT programme will share their knowledge and experiences. The ALERT programme teaches self-regulation through the "How does your engine run?" analogy. If your body is like a car engine, sometimes it runs on *high, sometimes it runs on low* and sometimes it runs *just right. We aim to have our body at just right* to engage well in our everyday activities. To get our engine to just right we may need to use some engine changers (sensory strategies). This will be an interactive day and everyone will get a chance to try out some of our engine changers!! Anyone who wishes to learn more about the ALERT programme is welcome.

The purpose of the Fair Day is to showcase our training services in Intellectual Disability and Brain Injury and families, friends and the local community are all welcome. The theme of this year's fair is "Cowboys & Indians", so get out your stetsons and bows and arrows! Description:	The staff and clients in St.Clares are hosting a "make your own pancake" morning, there are plenty of small frying pans available for everyone to show off their pancake flippping skills and to see who can get the pancake the highest in the air without letting it fall to the ground! This event will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday the 8th March in the Courtyard, Stamullen, Co.Meath, looking forward to seeing you there!

Description:	St.Clares Campus in Stamullen is having a Fair Day on the 25th July 2010. The fair day is to promote our services for adults with Intellectual Disability, our Brain Injury services and our Older Persons services. The afternoon will offer sales of work in craft, pottery, jewelry, horticulture. There will be international food stalls, cakes, books and brick a brack. The theme for the day is best dressed Hippie, there will be a best dressed hippie competition so don't be shy pull out those flares and long baggy shirts! There will also be games, face painting, a fortune teller, raffles, D.J, bouncy castle and lots more. All money raised will be divided evenly between us and a children's charity in India. We plan to set up a social fund for community outings and the charity in India is to build much needed schools and accommodation for children and families who are homeless. This spectacular event kicks off at 2.30pm and we hope to see you and all your friends and family there!
